Ryan, Mac, Sarah, Matthew, Deija and Jack have spent the past three weeks learning about the beliefs and rituals of Taoism. Their group did a particularly good job of working together.
Working with other people can be fun but also challenging, because most people want to make sure that everyone is putting forth a best effort -- that it's not just one or two people doing all the work.
I liked the way in which this group balanced the workload; each person made a significant contribution!
Specifically: Ryan and Mac combined their creative and engineering skills to systematically design and build a popsicle stick model of a Taoist temple. Matthew worked diligently on a creative story. Sarah, Deija and Jack collaborated to draw and describe legendary Taoist animals and to prepare a poster with tons of information about the religion.
